Level 1A’s (Ella and Olivia)
Today we talked about high sounds and low sounds (pitch) and short sounds and long sounds (rhythm). We reviewed how to find the C’s on our keyboards. If you’re not sure how to find Middle C, ask your kiddos! The girls worked through lessons 2 and 3 and played in the Games Room.
This Week At Home:
Spend some time with Miss Melody in the Practice Room, play in the Games Room, and do the 2nd worksheet. Bring your workbook back Thursday for a sticker!
Level 1’s (Nathan, Wayne, Gabby, Brianna, Ryanne, Desiree)
Today we learned a new finger warm up exercise to strengthen our fingers. We reviewed our musical alphabet (A B C D E F and G), and worked on clapping rhythms and stepping notes. Lots to remember! We did lesson 27 in CMJ2.
This Week At Home:
Visit Miss Melody in the Practice Room, play the unlocked games in the Games Room, practice writing rhythms and clapping them, and do the 2nd worksheet in your books.
Level 2A’s (Trysten, Lola, Caleb, James)
Today we reviewed the Grand Staff and practiced drawing treble clefs. Its tricky! We also practiced thinking and singing melodies with Cs, Ds, and Es. Everyone did a great job. We did lessons 33 in CMJ2.
This Week At Home:
Keep practicing with Miss Melody and playing your unlocked games, and do the 2nd worksheet.
